Furthermore, Isfahan has been designated as a UNESCO Creative City in the field of Crafts and Folk Arts, becoming part of the distinguished UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN).

Isfahan's exceptional status in handicrafts has been recognized through numerous prestigious accolades. The city holds the distinction of being Iran's first and the world's second designated World Crafts City, while also being the first Iranian city to earn a place in UNESCO's Creative Cities Network for Crafts and Folk Art. The province has been awarded 132 UNESCO Seals of Excellence and 600 National Seals of Excellence - the highest number in Iran - along with 27 National and 4 International Geographical Indications for its distinctive craft traditions. Fifty-six of Isfahan's craft disciplines are registered in Iran's Intangible Cultural Heritage list, protected for future generations.

To preserve and promote these traditions, Isfahan has produced extensive documentation including promotional films and educational materials, while implementing comprehensive training programs.
