Football is the world’s common language. But when schools and stadiums are bombed, silence is collaboration with felony.

On the eve of the 2026 World Cup, a simple question faces all of us:

How can a country that guns down young female volleyball players during their training —using banned weapons—be trusted to host the World Cup?
How can a nation that destroys stadiums and sports infrastructure be granted the honor of hosting the world’s biggest sporting event?

Football belongs to peace, not to warmongers.

That’s why people around the globe—especially football fans everywhere—are holding up a red card:

Red card to Trump.
Red card to child killing.
Red card to all who remain silent.

We demand FIFA to:

· Revoke the United States’ hosting rights.
· Refer the war crimes of the Trump administration—particularly bombing Minab’s elementary school, which killed 167 innocent children and teachers instantly—to the International Criminal Court.
· Issue a historic statement condemning bombing of sports facilities in Iran.
· Ban Trump from entering any World Cup stadium, as his aggressive behavior violates the principle of fair play that football stands for. 

The World Cup is a symbol of unity—not a platform to whitewash a child abuser. 

April 6 is the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace—a day that underscores the role of sport in fostering friendship and peace. Yet the Trump administration’s warlike policy of bombing Iranian schools and stadiums, and killing athletes, stands in stark contradiction to that global ideal.

The World Cup is a symbol of unity—not a whitewashing tool for a child-abusing regime.
